Apples from Moschun

A year ago, I gathered apples in my parents’ garden, their house in Moschun, this village is also called the fortress of Kyiv, because there were fierce battles for the capital. We managed to partially rebuild the house, for which we are incredibly grateful to Ludmila Komandyr, I don’t know if we would have been able to do this without her help, advice and support! A lot still needs to be poured and repaired, but I am happy that the house has been preserved. Apples as a symbol of rebirth, strength and future harvests – in the form of wings and suns.
