Homage to Ohara Koson

“Bird of prey flying high..in the summer sky”… This artwork I created long before the war started. But now the composition has a different meaning… I live near the forest park area and lakes and sometimes interesting birds come to us or even make nests on the roofs of high-rise buildings. For example, birds of prey from the hawk family. They scream and all the birds fall silent. I was impressed by how they fly over high-rises, playgrounds and kindergartens. I was also inspired by the work of the famous Japanese graphic artist Ohara Koson.

Але тепер композиція має інший зміст… Я живу біля лісопаркової зони та озер і іноді до нас прилітають цікаві птахи або навіть в’ють гнізда на дахах багатоповерхівок. Наприклад, хижі птахи з родини яструбиних. Вони кричать, і всі птахи замовкають. Мене вразило те, як вони літають над багатоповерхівками, дитячими майданчиками та дитсадками та шукають здобич. Також мене надихнули роботи відомого японського графіка Охари Косона. Слава Героям!
